Graduated with Bachelor health studies Master Podiatric Medicine from Western Sydney University in 2016. I have clinical experience and knowledge having worked as a podiatrist within the private sector and community health, as well as clinical supervision of undergraduate podiatry students at Western Sydney University and Volunteering at a joint “Western Sydney University “and “Commonwealth Department of Health and Ageing” initiative for men of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander origin in disadvantaged situations.
I have worked in health care for more than 20 years as a Registered Nurse with vast experience in wound care. I have worked in acute care Hospital in the Home Programs (Nepean Outreach Service) and Community Health services (Nepean Blue Mountains Local health) as part of a Multidisciplinary team working alongside vascular surgeons, infectious disease physicians, endocrinologists, diabetes educators.
My special interests are prevention of diabetic foot complications, high risk foot management and general podiatry care and support for older people to remain in their own home.
Registered with Australian Podiatry Association and member of Diabetes NSW, Wounds Australia and Muscular Dystrophy Association of NSW.
I actively participated in Continuous Professional Development.
Interests include cooking, Chinese antique furniture and fishkeeping.
