I commenced working as a Podiatrist in 1981 and in 1986 purchased the practice, continuing to build it to the strong business it is today. Over 33 years of practice I have continued with my professional development, continually embracing new techniques and broadening my knowledge base.
In 2000 I updated my qualification to a Bachelor of Science Podiatry, through Queen Margaret University in Edinburgh.
My practice has developed to encompass the talents of 7 other Podiatrists and 3 reception staff, believing the combination of talents and personalities enables the practice to meet the diverse needs of their patients.
My special Podiatry interests include: Musculoskeletal Podiatry, Dry needling, management of ingrown toe nails and prevention of Diabetic foot complications.
I am married and have 3 adult children. With my leisure time my interests include nutrition (attaining a post graduate Diploma in Clinical Nutrition in 1985), cooking, walking, travel, reading and family history research.
